This afternoon has turned out to bring pretty decent weather and the kids were finally able to go outside after the rain this morning.
I look out the window and see Alexa buckling her little sister into the swing and then proceed to stand there and push her. Olivia had the biggest smile on her face. To top it off our dog was sitting protectively in front of the swingset. For me it was picture perfect and completely warmed my heart.
When Alexa was a baby I remember hoping that we would someday be able to give her a sister. I'd hoped they would be close and no matter what they'd always have eachother to turn to. They have their moments as all siblings do but moments like these remind me how strong of a bond they really have and for that I'm thankful.
